Mississippi Highway 2

Mississippi Highway 2 (MS 2) is a designation for three highways in northern Mississippi. The westernmost segment starts at MS 5 in Hickory Flat, and ends at MS 15 and MS 368 in Blue Mountain. The central segment begins at MS 4 east of Ripley, and terminates at U.S. Route 72 (US 72) west of Corinth. The easternmost segment starts at US 45 in Corinth, and ends at the Tennessee state line. The road continues as Tennessee State Route 22 (TN 22). The first and easternmost segment was designated in 1932. The easternmost segment was added to MS 2 in 1956, and the central segment was added in 1958.
==Route description==
The three sections of MS 2 are located in Benton, Tippah, and Alcorn counties.〔 No parts of MS 2 are in the National Highway System (NHS), a network of highways identified as being most important for the economy, mobility and defense of the nation. MS 2 is legally defined in Mississippi Code § 65-3-3.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.lexisnexis.com/hottopics/mscode/ )
